Adele and Beyoncé among stars to land major Grammy nominations

Adele and Beyoncé are among the stars who have landed nominations for next year's Grammy Awards, which are due to take place on February 12.

The nominees for the 2017 awards are being unveiled on Tuesday (December 6) and the first category to be announced was Record of the Year. Adele's 'Hello' will go up against Beyoncé's Formation, Rihanna's 'Work', Lukas Graham's '7 Years' and Twenty One Pilots' 'Stressed Out'.

Adele is also nominated for Song of the Year with 'Hello'. She will vie against Beyoncé's 'Formation', Mike Posner's 'I Took A Pill In Ibiza', Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself' and Lukas Graham's '7 Years'.

The Brit will also go head-to-head with Beyoncé in the Album of the Year category. Their respective efforts '25' and 'Lemonade' will battle against Drake's 'Views', Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' and Sturgill Simpson's 'A Sailor's Guide to Earth'.
