Music icon Mariah Carey has revealed that her new eight-part series 'Mariah’s World' isn't really a reality show because she doesn't "even know what reality is". 

Chatting to Hello! about the project, which is airing on E!, the 'Obsessed' sensation explained that it will show her in the most authentic light: "I don’t even know what reality is. Like, I can be a bit of a jokestress (sic) and sometimes that gets the best of me. I can be a bit bossy, but I try to be a nice person.”

She went onto talk about the dynamic of being a mother to twins while maintaining an incredibly successful music career and added:

“I always take (my kids) with me on tour. I try to have them do as many activities that aren’t just the iPad. So I spend time with them, we travel together. They really enjoy travelling – they’ve been around the world probably more than most adults will ever be around the world.”
