Louis Tomlinson's 'Just Hold On' No.1 on iTunes 'Top Songs' chart

One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson performed his debut solo single 'Just Hold On' last night (December 10) in tribute to his mother Johannah, who died this week following a battle with leukaemia.

Since the performance the track, which is a collaboration with Steve Aoki, has reached the No.1 spot on the UK 'Top Songs' chart on iTunes, beating the likes of Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift's 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' and The Weeknd's 'Starboy' to the coveted top spot.

Tomlinson shared a tweet after running through the song on the X Factor stage, which reads: "That was harder than I ever imagined. I want to thank everyone around me and all of the amazing fans out there that made that so special! Feeling so much love around me and my family. Mum would have been so fucking proud (sorry for swearing mum) love you!"
