Former JLS singer Oritse Williams has denied allegations that he raped a fan in a hotel room in Wolverhampton earlier this month.

The star was arrested on December 2 after a 20-year-old woman claimed she had been raped and sexually assaulted. Williams had been performing at the Gorgeous club in Wolverhampton the night before.

The ex JLS man was bailed until February. Another man, who was aged 29, was also arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.

Williams' management company 10 Worlds Music denied the accusations in a statement. They said: "All we wish to say at this time is that Oritse denies the allegations against him. The matter is in the hands of the police and it would be totally wrong for us to comment any further."
