Prince had discussions with Netflix about reality TV series

Netflix has revealed that it held discussions with Prince about making a reality TV series about the star before he died in April.

A spokesperson told The Associated Press at the weekend that the mooted programme would have centered on the musician's Paisley Park complex in Minnesota, which contained recording studios and rehearsal spaces.

Prince died at the age of 57 from a fentanyl overdose at Paisley Park in April. In October, the building was granted permission to become a full-time museum.

The premises opened as a permanent museum on October 28 and among the attractions available on tours is Prince's video editing suites and rehearsal rooms. The musician's ashes are on display in a Paisley Park themed urn.
