Michael Ball and Alfie Boe set to beat the Rolling Stones to UK No.1 album

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe are sitting pretty at No.1 on Monday's (December 12) UK midweek albums chart update with their collaborative effort 'Together'.

The duo have previously hit No.2 on the chart with the release, but it looks like it could be set to peak at No.1 this week. It has now usurped The Rolling Stones' 'Blue & Lonesome', which reached the top spot on Friday (December 9) but falls to No.2.

Elvis Presley's 'The Wonder of You' is in at No.3, Little Mix's Glory Days is No.4 and Olly Murs' latest effort '24 HRS' rounds off the top five.

Phil Collins' 'The Singles' is up four places to No.11 and J Cole debuts at No.14 with '4 Your Eyez Only'. Adele's '25' meanwhile rises four spots to No.17 ahead of Christmas.
