Kendrick Lamar to livestream Brooklyn gig later tonight

'King Kunta' hitmaker Kendrick Lamar has revealed that he will play a gig later tonight (December 16) at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn and it will be livestreamed for free on his Facebook page.

The gig and its online footage will kick off at 9pm EST, 2am GMT and you can head here to watch it.

Earlier this year, the star told the GRAMMYs.com that the late icon Prince was meant to appear on his album 'To Pimp A Butterfly': "Prince heard the record, loved the record and the concept of the record got us to talking."

He added: "We got to a point where we were just talking in the studio and the more time that passed we realised we weren't recording anything. We just ran out of time, it's as simple as that."
