David Bowie and Adele named Britain's Top Musicians in new poll

A study of 2,000 Brits was recently conducted by CamRate in the area of music, politics and the arts and the country's favourite musician has been revealed as the late David Bowie

He topped the Favourite Male Musicians poll, beating the likes of Elvis Presley (No.2), Ed Sheeran (No.3) and the late Michael Jackson (No.4) to the top spot. Also in the top 20 were Sir Paul McCartney (No.15), Sir Elton John (No.7), and Frank Sinatra (No.10).

Adele topped the list of Favourite Female Musicians, but she was closely followed by Kate Bush (No.2), Whitney Houston (No.3), and Beyoncé (No.5). Taylor Swift finished at No.7, Madonna was at 8 and Alicia Keys was at No.18.
