Blink-182 want to make a documentary: 'That would be cool'

'Bored To Death' pop-punkers Blink-182 have revealed ambitions to make a documentary in the new year.

The band's drummer Travis Barker told Kerrang! magazine: "Maybe there's (the possibility of) a new live album, or because the (2009 film) Blinkumentary never came out, we talked about maybe doing some kind of new documentary. That would be cool."

Mark Hoppus added that doing something as a trio now that Matt Skiba is in the band is important to them, so the timing is right to get stuck into a project of that nature: "It'd be cool to have a new documentary out with Matt being in the band. I always like the documentaries about bands, just to see how their internal workings go."

Blink-182 will return to the UK next summer for a series of arena shows and their schedule is below:

  • Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena (July 3, 2017)
  • Nottingham, Motorpoint Arena (July 4)
  • Leeds, First Direct Arena (July 5)
  • Birmingham, Barclaycard Arena (July 7)
  • Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena (July 9)
  • Glasgow, The SSE Hydro (July 11)
  • Manchester, Arena (July 14)
  • Liverpool, Echo Arena (July 15)
  • Bournemouth, BIC (July 17)
  • London, The O2 (July 19-20)
