Selena Gomez to appear on Paulina Rubio's new album

Mexican singer Paulina Rubio has confirmed that she has secured a collaboration with Selena Gomez for her upcoming new studio album.

During an interview with Vanidades magazine, Rubio explained that all of the songs on her new record will be "danceable" and she's excited to have the 'Good For You' sensation on board:

"My new album is like another member of the team, or the family. It will be a true warrior, has something from all genres, from band to pop, collaborations of DJ Snake and Selena Gomez. I tried to keep a key element: That the music is danceable."

Gomez, meanwhile, recently took some time out from the spotlight to refocus and get back to herself, and told Thrive that it was a liberating and grounding experience: "I recently took 90 days off. During that time I did not have my cellphone. It was the most refreshing, calming, rejuvenating feeling. Now I rarely pick up my phone, and only limited people have access to me."
