Bon Iver cancels European tour due to "personal reasons"

Bon Iver's upcoming European tour has been axed along with frontman Justin Vernon's upcoming appearance on radio show 'A Prairie Home Companion'.

No specific reason for the cancellation was given, but the band shared a statement on Twitter and Facebook last night and explained that "personal reasons" have forced them to pull the run of dates:

"For personal reasons, Bon Iver has cancelled its forthcoming European tour set to begin in paris on January 22, 2017 and end in London on February 20, 2017 in addition to Justin Vernon's scheduled appearance on 'A Prairie Home Companion' on January 14, 2017. Our deepest apologies to all of our fans. We will be back."

Bon Iver was due to perform at London's Roundhouse venue on February 15 and 16, and another date was confirmed to take place on February 19 at the Eventim Apollo, but these shows will no longer go ahead.
