Bon Jovi named the highest earning touring act of 2010

After an incredible career of over 26 years, Bon Jovi have been named the top touring act of 2010.

Billboard have reported that the band have scored the highest earning tours of the year, raking in $146.5m from their Greatest Hits world tour which saw them perform a 12-night residency at London’s O2 Arena.

Front man, Jon Bon Jovi, said of the achievement:

“In the industry it means something... all your peers are going to look at it. They're going to see some kind of year-end charts for everything: albums, singles, touring... You can't think about it. In order to break records you have to just do it to satisfy the need."
