Bruce Springsteen tribute act confirmed to perform at Donald Trump's Inaugural Ball

The latest musical act to be confirmed to perform at President-elect Donald Trump's upcoming inauguration celebration is Bruce Springsteen tribute act the B-Street Band.

Trump, who initially promised "tremendous talent" for the festivities, will have the band to perform at the Garden State Gala on January 19 at the Washington Court Hotel.

The forthcoming inauguration events will also see performances from The Rockettes, America's Got Talent winner Jackie Evancho and country duo Big & Rich.

Soulstress Rebecca Ferguson was invited to perform at the event and she explained that she would accept the invitation if she could sing 'Strange Fruit', a bold condition which made headlines around the globe. Earlier this week, she issued a statement exclusively through Pressparty, which you can read in full here, and confirmed that she will not be performing.

Singer Charlotte Church also rejected an offer to perform at Trump's inauguration in a short Twitter post, which read: "Your staff have asked me to sing at your inauguration, a simple Internet search would show I think you're a tyrant. Bye."
