Sneak peek at Matt Cardle’s ‘When We Collide’ video

After winning ‘The X Factor’ last night (December 12) Matt Cardle appeared on ‘Xtra Factor’ to give fans a peek at the music video for his winning rendition of Biffy Clyro’s ‘Many of Horror’.

The song – which has been renamed ‘When We Collide’ for Cardle – made its first appearance after Cardle won the contest. "I hope next time I sing it, I sing it a little bit better than that," he jokingly said at the end of the show.

As with previous ‘X Factor’ champs, the winning single will be put into the running for this year’s Christmas number one. However, last year’s winner Joe McElderry failed to top the charts after an anti-‘X Factor’ campaign launched Rage Against the Machine to the top spot.

A similar campaign has been launched by Pete Doherty this year, with a silent track released under the name Cage Against the Machine. The Libertines star is joined by The Kooks and Imogen Heap.
