Newly crowned winner of X Factor, Essex’s Matt Cardle has spoken out about his debut single and it’s altered title.

Cardle will be releasing a cover of Biffy Clyro’s ‘Many of Horror’ but the track has been renamed as ‘When We Collide’.

Speaking about the changed song name, he said:

“That was the X Factor thing - you couldn't escape it completely. They've left their mark."

Radio 1’s newsbeat reported that Biffy Clyro's record company said there is "no official comment" from the band.
