Jamiroquai unveil new music video and confirm album release date

Jamiroquai have unveiled their new music video, which is for a track entitled 'Automaton'.

In the song, frontman Jay Kay sings: "All this love I felt for you/ Has gone away to another place (It's a digital life)/ I put my faith in a digital world." The group also confirmed that their new album will be released on March 31.

Speaking about the song and its accompanying video in a statement, they said: "The inspiration for ‘Automaton’ is in recognition of the rise of artificial intelligence and technology in our world today and how we as humans are beginning to forget the more pleasant, simple and eloquent things in life and in our environment including our relationship with one another as human beings."

Jamiroquai, meanwhile, were just announced to perform at the Boardmasters festival, which will take place between August 9-13 at Fistral Beach on Watergate Bay in Cornwall.
