Singer Matt Terry, who won The X Factor in 2016, has revealed that he was offered a role in the West End musical production of Les Miserables. 

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz the exciting news, but admitted that it's a matter of working out timing and how it would fit in with everything he hopes to achieve in the near future:

"I got offered to be in 'Les Mis' in the West End that was really cool. I'd love to, it's just finding the time because I felt this year I don't really have the time, maybe next year I'll get to do it for a month or so."

During a recent Twitter Q&A, someone asked if he would like to tour and he replied: "I would love to. Gotta write the album first though." In reference to new music, Matt Terry said: "Hopefully it will be ready as soon as poss."
