'Don't Look Back Into The Sun' hitmakers The Libertines have been confirmed to headline a night of the Wirral Live series, which will see them perform at Prenton Park, at the Tranmere Rovers Stadium, on Saturday, May 20. 

The stadium is located in Birkenhead, England and is home to the non-league Tranmere Rovers F.C. and Liverpool F.C. Reserves, and has a capacity of just over 16,000. 

Support for the concert will come from The Coral and Reverend & The Makers, and tickets are due to go on sale from 10am on Thursday, February 9 from SeeTickets. Tweeting about the exciting news last night, the band wrote: "Tranmere, we're doing this. May 20th with @thecoral & @Reverend_Makers. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Thursday. It's going to be big x"
