Beyoncé pulls out of Coachella 'following the advice of her doctors'

'Halo' sensation Beyoncé has pulled out of her headlining spot at this year's Coachella festival in California because of her pregnancy.

The superstar was confirmed to perform at the 2017 edition of the event, which is set to take place in April, but doctors have advised her against it so she has now cancelled the booking and instead announced that she will headline the following year, in 2018. She is currently expecting twins with husband Jay Z

The official statement reads: "Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding."
