Ed Sheeran achieves impressive Australian chart feat

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has achieved a rare feat on the Australian singles chart this week

The hitmaker secured the No.1 spot on the ARIA Singles Chart with 'Shape Of You', but he is also at No.2 with 'How Would You Feel (Paean)' and at No.3 with 'Castle on the Hill'.

This impressive achievement was last reached by an artist in the December of 2012 - namely Karise Eden (who won Australia's edition of 'The Voice') - and before that it happened in 1964 when The Beatles dominated the Top 5.

Earlier this month, Sheeran was crowned Spotify's most popularartist after securing the top spot with 42.18m monthly listeners. The Chainsmokers took 2nd place with 37.8m monthly listeners and The Weeknd was third with 37.67m.
