Actor Jake Gyllenhaal has finally opened up about his not-so-secret relationship with country darling Taylor Swift.

Although both stars have been keeping quiet on the subject, the pair have been photographed spending Halloween and Thanksgiving together.

But now Gyllenhaal has finally broke the silence on the matter, telling USA Today about taking things slow: "It's going to be a long, slow burn for me," he said. "I'm not rushing into anything!"

The ‘Brokeback Mountain’ star also talked about his recent Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in ‘Love And Other Drugs’.

"It was pretty unexpected. I got a call and then I checked my phone and I had 25 emails, and it was either disconcerting or exciting. In this case it was exciting."
