Ne-yo wants to reform Girls Aloud

Ne-Yo has revealed that he wants to reunite girl group Girls Aloud who have been on hiatus for over a year so he can write for them.

The hitmaker – who was writing songs for Michael Jackson before the star’s death – is keen to pen tunes for the girls and thinks they should sort out their problems and reform.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Ne-Yo had a message for the band – consisting of Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts – saying: "It's Christmas - time for putting whatever dramas you have behind and making sweet music. I'm a huge fan of curvy Kimberley Walsh and I'd love to do something with them all.

"Let's make some hits, girls. Give me a call. I'm always up for making music, it's something we've talked about."
