Gaga's impromptu performance at trendy Manhattan bar

Lady Gaga embraced her inner New Yorker on January 5 as she paid an unnanounced visit to the Plaza Hotel's Oak Room Bar in Manhattan. 

She dropped in on the resident musician Brian Newman and performed an impromptu, but fantastic, version of George Gershwin's 'Someone To Watch Over Me', which surprised the clientele. She also gave a rendition of Nat King Cole's 'Orange Coloured Sky' in what is the second time she's turned up during a set by Newman, as back in September of 2010 she again paid him an unexpected visit.
