Mike D of the Beastie Boys has officially confirmed that the band will release their album 'Hot Sauce Committee Pt 2' as originally scheduled.

The first installment of 'Hot Sauce Committee' is currently unreleased as Adam Yauch was diagnosed with cancer in 2009, from which he has now received the all-clear, but the second part will go ahead as planned in Spring of this year. 

Speaking to the BBC, Mike D explained:

"It's still delayed - the first one. The second one is coming out as originally scheduled."

"We've got a video we got to finish, a big video. I know people don't make big videos any more but we made a big video.

"It's not even a video, it's a film-eo. A cinematic, short film."
