Trent Reznor awarded a Golden Globe for The Social Network

Trent Reznor was one of last night's (January 16) lucky recipients of a prestigious Golden Globe award at the 68th annual ceremony in California. 

The Nine Inch Nails founder won the award for Best Original Song - Motion Picture for his contribution to the 2010 movie, 'The Social Network', which overall took home an impressive 4 trophies. Reznor, who won the award alongside working partner Atticus Ross, said of the honour:

"A year ago I had no idea I'd have the opportunity to score a film,"

"The idea of standing up here to accept this award is surreal."
