Cher Has No. 1 Singles in Each of the Past 6 Decades

Cher has become the only act in history to have a No. 1 single in each of the last 6 decades.

On hearing the news, she tweeted: "OMG! "You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me " just went 2 #1 on the BillBoard Dance Chart... Giving me a #1 hit single in Every Decade SINCE THE 60's."

Her most recent single, 'You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me', features on her film 'Burlesque' and won a Golden Globe award for Best Original Song on Sunday, January 16. It has already reached No. 1 in the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs chart, which makes the icon the impressive record holder.

She shot to No. 1 in 1965 with 'I Got You Babe', with 'Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves', 'Half Breed', 'Dark Lady' and 'All I Ever Need Is You' in the '70's, with 'After All' and 'If I Could Turn Back Time' in the '80's, with 'Believe', 'Strong Enough' and 'All or Nothing' in the '90's and finally with 'A Different Kind of Love Song' and 'When The Money's Gone' in the '00's.
