Joe Jonas' solo LP inspired by electro and Euro-dance

One third of the Jonas Brothers is going solo and claims he has been heavily influenced by European electro and dance music.

Joe Jonas, 21, is branching out on his own with a debut solo album and has some interesting ideas that are helping shape his songs. Speaking exclusively to MTV, he revealed:

"There's a guy, called Frankmusik, out of London. A lot of electro DJs out in Europe are doing some cool stuff right now."

"I just listen to a bunch of stuff you dance to, kind of electro-based. A lot of stuff that's so amazing [that] you can create on the computer."

He also let MTV know that he's working with producer Danja (Britney Spears' 'Gimme More' and Knock You Down' by Keri Hilson, Kanye West and Ne-Yo) and the two had great admiration for Daft Punk's 'Tron' soundtrack:

"To be able to go on a musical journey for a while and finally with finding Danja and working with him, we've been able to collaborate on something that really works for me."
