Ke$ha has mananged to hang on to her number 1 spot from the midweek charts with her new single, 'We R Who We R'. 

The elaborate pop star's electro pop anthem marks her first UK number 1 single and last night (January 29) she tweeted:

"THANK U soooooo much to my UK fans for taking WE R WHO WE R to #1!!!! I live for this!! thankuthankuthanku!!!!!!!"

'Grenade' by Bruno Mars is now at number 2, Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' sits comfortably at 3, Diddy - Dirty Money's 'Coming Home' is at 4 and Chase & Status' 'Blind Faith' completes the top 5.
