SXSW Festival to premiere Foo Fighters documentary

The forthcoming South By Southwest Festival will play host to the premiere of a brand new documentary about Foo Fighters.

The event will take place in Austin, Texas from March 11-19 and will show the feature-length film that has been created from hours of compiled footage of the band. Frontman, Dave Grohl, explained to NME that he gave permission to release the videos to director James Moll and that there are:

"mountains of never seen before footage"

He also revealed:

"For me, it's like watching my life flash in front of my eyes,"

"Except with a mouth full of popcorn and Hot Tamales. Hope you dig it. It's been a wild 16 years... here's to 16 more."
