Gossip girl actress turned pop-rock star Taylor Momsen admits the success of her band is down to her workaholic nature. 

The 17-year old vocalist told BANG Showbiz:

"I'm working 24 hours a day and that's probably the one thing people don't know about me, that I'm a workaholic and I can't stop. But I love what I do so it's always fun."

She also credits The Pretty Reckless' popularity down to the fact that her band mates are also her best friends, so the chemistry they have works in their favour:

"My best friends come on tour with me, I'm so close with my band so that's fantastic. It's the best job, you get to be with who you love and be with your friends all the time. There's no complaints."

Momsen also took time to address her risqué outfits, and explained:

"don't want to consider myself to be a role model, that's too much pressure for anyone to take on. I didn't get into this industry to become a role model."
