Jessie J might sing BRITS acceptance speech

Jessie J scored her first UK number 1 single last night (February 6) with 'Price Tag' and her new-found success has caused her to think about her BRIT Awards acceptance speech.

The Essex-born singer-songwriter won the Critics' Choice Brit Award and will receive her trophy live on national television during the ceremony on February 15. She is toying with the concept of doing things a little differently on the night and revealed to Notion magazine:

"I'm actually thinking of writing a song for my speech, instead of doing a speech. Just cos no-one's ever done it, and I think it would be quite entertaining for people."

"I reckon it's quite boring, innit, people just getting up and going 'Yeah, thanks to my fans,' you know what I mean? I think it'd be more interesting to do a really funny song."
