Katy Perry feels secure in her career

As pop star Katy Perry prepares for her 'California Dreams' world tour, she admits that she's never felt so secure in her career.

In the new issue of Elle magazine, Perry reveals:

"I feel like I'm at a point in my life right now where I could potentially stick around,"

"I don't feel like a diva, but I think diva is a great and powerful word in the sense of what Beyoncé makes it. And maybe I can't be Beyoncé, but maybe I can be Cyndi Lauper. I mean be like her, not be her. That would just be weird."

The 'Teenage Dream' singer also treated her fans in Europe to another announcement about the forthcoming tour and told them:

"ATTN EUROPE: I'm EXCITED to announce 1 of my FAVORITE bands, NEW YOUNG PONY CLUB (@nyponyclub) will be joining us on #CALIFORNIADREAMSTOUR!!"
