Wiz Khalifa talks topping the Hot 100

After 18 weeks climbing the Billboard charts, Wiz Khalifa’s ode to Pittsburgh ‘Black and Yellow’ has settled in at the number one spot on the US Hot 100.

The 23-year-old rapper expressed surprise at the revelation, telling Billboard.com: "It feels amazing. Everybody that makes music wants to be in this position. I'm pretty level-headed about everything but... I did a little dance."

The colour coded title refers to football team the Pittsburgh Steelers who unfortunately were defeated in the Super Bowl last Sunday (February 6) by the Green Bay Packers – "You win some, you lose some," was Khalifa’s reaction.

It was a complete surprise," says Khalifa. "It being a song about Pittsburgh, I thought it would just be a great introduction. I never imagined this."
