Avril Lavigne nervous to present a BRIT tonight

Avril Lavigne is currently in the UK ahead of tonight's BRIT Awards, where she will present a prize, and is terrified of tripping on stage.

The pop-rocker appeared briefly on this morning's (February 15) Daybreak where she performed her new single 'What The Hell', but is most nervous about presenting an award to a BRIT winner this evening at London's O2 Arena. She told Daybreak:

"I just happened to be in town this week, so it's really last minute and the Brit's are happening tonight so I am really excited,"

"I am presenting an award and I am wearing a dress and heels. I will be trying not to fall! I really would like to wear these boots with my dress,"

Lavigne was unable to reveal any more information about what her duties will entail at the star-studded ceremony, but added:

"I don't know what award I am presenting yet, but I am excited."

She will also be hosting an exclusive fan event in central London on Wednesday, February 16 and you can watch the video for 'What The Hell' here:
