Bruno Mars to bring "rock 'n' roll" to the UK

Bruno Mars is looking forward to his first UK headlining tour next month and explained that his live performance is always "rock 'n' roll". 

Speaking to The Mirror's Gavin Martin, the 'Grenade' hit maker said:

"It's an old school rock 'n' roll show,"

"I'm holding a guitar and singing the tunes. That's what you get. People might think I'm up there with a tux and an orchestra, but it's the exact opposite. I play with a band who are a bunch of pals, we're having a blast and our goal is to make everyone in the audience feel the same."

He also revealed one of his biggest influences as soul legend James Brown:

"I'd watch James Brown on the TAMI show too. Seeing him changed my life. I was working every night singing and going to school during the day. It was very important to me to graduate."

Mars' tour begins on March 9 in Dublin, Ireland and you can watch his performance from the recent Grammy Awards ceremony below:
