Simon Cowell's ex gilfriend Sinitta has revealed that she's been dealing with a secret cancer scare. 

The 42 year old singer and personality recently discovered a tumour, according to the Daily Star "the size of an ostrich egg", in her stomach and had to endure emergency surgery to have it removed. 

She told the newspaper:

"I am recovering well. Thank God the tumour was not malignant. But it was the size of an ostrich egg. Bizarre."

“I had two weeks of morphine afterwards. The medicine was very strong.”

The Daily Star also reports that Simon Cowell has been very supportive and in constant contact with her throughout the ordeal and she tweeted yesterday, February 19:

"bit achey but bearable, going home today I hope!"
