Alexis Jordan reveals softer side of Jay-Z

U.S newcomer Alexis Jordan may only just be starting her popular music career, but is already signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation and explained that he has her on the right track.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star's Kim Dawson, the 'Happiness' singer revealed:

"Jay is very supportive but at the same time he knows I have a creative side and a vision of my own, so it’s kind of all me."

“Everything – from the band to the dancers, their outfits, their hair, my outfits, the songs I want to put out next – it’s me."

She also explained his leniency is something that strives her to work harder:

"He lets me do my own thing. Normally artists’ record labels choose what songs go on their album.

“But Jay let me pick the majority of my album."

“Is he a bit of a softie behind closed doors? Yeah.”
