Kylie leaves TV interview in tears

Kylie Minogue recently sat down for a candid interview with Australia's Molly Meldrum and fled the set in tears after opening up about deeply personal feelings.

At the beginning of the piece, the 'Spinning Around' singer says to the camera:

"This is Molly's exclusive and there's only one person in Australia who can get this kind of stuff. That's Mr. Meldrum."

She was talking about her ordeal with breast cancer when the emotion overcame her and she broke down:

"I remember one moment there where I was talking to some parents across the other side of a bed, so their child was there, and I was saying the things that I would normally say in that situation, just making coversation with the child - the parents - giving them some support as well."

"They caught me off guard and eyeballed me and said, "And how are you? And we hope you get through it."

Meldrum then asserted that Minogue's struggle with the disease caused lots of girls to get checked out, which in turn affected her emotions:

"The greatest part of my job and what I do is the humanity of it, and there's certain moments where that really cuts through."
