British singer-songwriter Jessie J made her musical debut on America's iconic 'Saturday Night Live' last night, and blew everyone away. 

The star performed a challenging rendition of 'Mama Knows Best', accompanied by a full live band, in front of the live studio audience who applauded energetically when she finished. She tweeted about her appearance afterwards and expressed her amazement at the achievement:

"I am so in a space of 'omg wow' right now. I'm the first artist to ever be booked on SNL before having a album out. Thank you for believing in me :) USA I'm coming for ya#heartbeats #whoyouare #pause lol"

She also sang her UK number 1 single, 'Price Tag', for which she was joined by U.S rapper B.o.B, before leaving the set. Watch her SNL debut below:
