Christina Aguilera has opened up about her role as a judge on the new American talent show, 'The Voice'. 

In a special NBC interview, the star revealed her excitement at participating in the project:

"What an amazing opportunity to share all of my experiences."

She also spoke about what she feels she can bring to contestants on the new programme:

"Things that I've always brought to the table and have been taught by my Grandma from a very little, young age is to sing with your heart and not your head and to truly give it everything you've got every single time you get on that stage."
