Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she's finding balancing her family life with her increasingly busy career a struggle. 

The actress has recently taken on a different workload after signing up to appear in hit U.S musical series 'Glee' as character Holly Holiday and portraying a singer in brand new movie 'Country Strong', and explained to New! Magazine that it's a lot harder than she expected:

"It is hard, particularly recently, because I’ve been doing a lot of promotion for the movie. I wish I could say, “Ooh, yes, it’s great” but my son was sobbing yesterday when I left the house. It was terrible. I could actually cry right now."

She also said that she finds herself weighing up the pros and cons of potential jobs to see if they will be worth her while:

"He doesn’t understand and it is really, really hard but, at the same time, you just think, “Well, I have an opportunity to take this once-in-a-lifetime thing and I will bring that experience home with me and, with any luck, I will be a better mother because of it.”
