Jedward want to "prove" their talent

Irish singing duo Jedward have admitted that they want to show the world they can actually sing and have been given a track to record that was originally meant for Westlife.

The twins, who are representing their native Ireland at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, revealed that after a bit of convincing they persuaded mentor Louis Walsh to hand over the single:

"We persuaded Louis to give us a song written for Westlife. It's more of a pop ballad than anything we've done before."

Edward added:

"We're gonna prove we can sing."
