Foo Fighters' Hawkins doesn't want film released

Foo Fighters' documentary, 'Back And Forth', which premiered at SXSW recently, will see its UK release into a selection of cinemas on April 7, but band member Taylor Hawkins doesn't want fans to see it.

Speaking exclusively to the NME in an interview that will be made available next week, Hawkins explained he finds it too personal to be made public:

"I wish we wouldn't put the fucking movie out to be honest because I'm not really comfortable with the public sort of openness, I'm really not,"

Despite his feelings of apprehension over the movie's forthcoming release, he still took time to praise how it was made and how it comes across as a finished product:

"I think it's done well and yes, I think because there's points where you do feel uncomfortable, that’s what makes it interesting for people."

He added, honestly:

"Any rock documentary or any documentary, the centrepiece is the hard part, the painful part."
