Donny Osmond has landed himself a new job as a radio presenter on 96.2's The Revolution, the station has confirmed. 

The performer is no stranger to the airwaves as his previous endeavor, The Donny Osmond Show, aired on Southampton's The Breeze and his new gig will be exclusive to Oldham's 96.2 and will be made "with Manchester very much in mind".

Steve Penk, the director, explained in a statement:

"Donny is excited about it because he's got very fond memories of Manchester because of The Osmonds and all the times they've toured here. Manchester remains one of their loyalist fanbases."

"And there's an interesting statistic that he has more members of his fan club in Manchester than any other major city in Europe."

The programme will begin on April 16 and will run every Saturday from 10am and you can watch part of a recent interview with the all-round performer below:
