Wu Tang Clan confirm UK tour

Wu Tang Clan have announced a string of UK dates, which will mark their first tour in the country in over four years. 

The rap collective are set to perform two consecutive headlining nights at London's HMV Forum before heading off to other cities where they will treat audiences to tracks from their five studio albums and forthcoming EP, and founding member GZA told BBC's Newsbeat:

"I feel really great about this tour and I love to perform in the UK."

"The British fans can expect lots of energy and we'll be bringing our best, as we always do."

He added, excitedly:

"We're really excited about all performing together again and definitely looking forward to it."

The 'Gravel Pit' outfit includes  RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God and Masta Killa, and the dates they are confirmed to play are as follows:

  • June 11 - London's HMV Forum
  • June 12 - London's HMV Forum
  • June 13 - Birmingham's HMV Institute
  • June 14 - Edinburgh's HMV Picture House
  • June 15 - Manchester Academy 1
