Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Bruno Mars has released the video for his new single, 'The Lazy Song', after it premiered on MTV recently. 

The video, which is a far cry from what we saw with 'Grenade' or 'Just The Way You Are (Amazing)', is simply shot and shows Mars performing the track alongside a troupe of dancers with monkey masks on. The laid back, and fairly comical, vocals are reflected in the entertaining routine and it's a real back-to-basics video. 

Tweeting about the release this morning, April 17, he wrote:

"Life's too short to not have some fun.. Dance with monkeys!!"
