The list of nominated artists and bands for this year's Ivor Novello awards has finally been unveiled. 

Everything Everything are up for two gongs, as is rapper and singer Plan B, whilst Foals, The xx and Tinie Tempah have all earned themselves nominations courtesy of the prestigious British awards ceremony. 

The event itself will take place on May 19 at London's Grosvenor House and The Ivors are held annually to honour excellence in music writing. The list of nominated acts is as follows:
