Last night (April 28) saw the live broadcast of Billboard's Latin Music awards and the big winners were internationally renowned crossover artists Enrique Iglesias and Shakira. 

The show aired from the University of Miami's Bank United Centre in Florida and saw an exciting performance from Pitbull, amongst others.

The 'Hero' superstar, Iglesias, took home an incredible 9 awards, which included Latin Artist of the Year, Latin Album of the Year and Latin Pop Album of the Year for 'Euphoria', Vocal Event, Latin Pop Airplay Song of the Year, Latin Song of the Year, and he also earned Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year (Male) and Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year (Male) thanks to his impressive sales figures. 

Meanwhile, Shakira scooped an equally commendable six titles including Latin Pop Airplay Artist of the Year, Solo and Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year Female for her through-the-roof airplay statistics, Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year (Female) for her record, 'Sale el Sol', Latin Digital Album of the Year, Latin Digital Download of the Year for the track, 'Waka Waka', and finally Social 50 Latin Artist of the Year.
