Gaga and Kanye clean up at MTV's O Awards

MTV's first ever O Music Awards, a ceremony designed to celebrate all things musical and digital, were held last night, April 28, and streamed live from Las Vegas.

Lady Gaga emerged as the big winner at the inaugural event as she won the titles of Most Innovative Artist and Must Follow Artist on Twitter. The 'Born This Way' pop superstar has broken numerous records this year thanks to her ever-increasing fan base and currently has a phenomenal 9.6 million followers on the social networking site so she was a clear choice to win.

Perhaps a more unusual an award, Best Tweet, went to Kanye West for his bizarre message that read, "I hate when I'm on a flight and I wake up with a water bottle next to me like oh great now I gotta be responsible for this water bottle", and newcomer Willow Smith won the award for Most Viral Dance Video for her debut single, 'Whip My Hair'.
