Chris Brown's mother recently opened up to Sister 2 Sister magazine about her hopes for his love life and how she really feels about his assault on former girlfriend Rihanna. 

During the interview, Joyce Hawkins revealed that his temper is something he needs to learn how to handle and his outburst on Good Morning America should have been more controlled:

"He needs to learn how to deal with it and to answer it no matter what. Be prepared to be able to answer it,” 

"This is something that happened; it was a huge mistake... It was not good at all. But he is still a human being and we all make mistakes and we live and we go on with it."

She also said that her son has "the biggest heart", but she wants him to find someone he could get serious about and really be with:

"I wish he could find a decent, down-to-earth girl that he could really love."

"When he introduces me to girls, I'm like 'don't introduce me to her cos I'm only going to see her for the day!'"
